I want to put a 29" front wheel on my 26" Hawthorn, but I don't want the tubular style forks. If I extend a set of forks to fit, what are the concerns about geometry and safety? I can have them Tig welded. The cool thing is I could get a disc brake wheel. IMG_20160603_161218517.jpg

I've been able to fit 29"S on a stock firmstrong bruiser and the Realm aluminum cruiser. can get low pro tire in rear, very little clearance, change forks if necessary. But it's been done.
