Hey guys and dolls,

I just ordered wheels and tires for my next build. Luckily, I've found several threads on doing an "aged" paint job. I need to age the tires to look as if they have browned with age. Any ideas? Just in case it doesn't work out I bought brown tires. Thank you.

Go to your local model supply store and pick up some weathering powders (I'm a Tamiya fanboy, but there are others). Slosh them up with some windex, slop it on and wipe off to your desire. I haven't washed them with soap yet, but rolling through puddles doesn't seem to phase it.

dont wipe your hands while putting the bike together, and rub them all over the tires. Usually dirty mine up right away lol...

 Have you seen the new black?
My Boas have been sitting in the Sun and have turned chalky white. They are also hard to keep clean. My next tires will be black.

It's BLACK!!
