Run the serial number on the internet. Sometimes that will only narrow it to within a few years.

On AMF bikes, serial numbers are still a mystery. To judge bikes by features to discern the year or approximately, certain features give clues. For AMF, I guess the year by the chainwheel, the spiral design is late 50's, the star sprocket is late 50's, early 60's, and the one like yours is late 60's early 70's. Other things come into play, like the seat stem, AMF had the one that tightened like a handlebar stem with a bolt inside, until the early 60's. I'd guess your bike is 65.

Wow that's newer than I thought it was going to be, I checked my other one and it must be about a 65 as well.

Thanks for the info Guys

They kept that good geometry to the frame through the years, so whether it's a 58 or 68, it still rides great.
