I need to know how you take off a fork (NOT A SPRINGER) Anyone have a video or can type the steps in :?:
Thank's
Nick :p

Cant do much for pictures right now-

Remove the stem(from stem bolt)

First remove the top-most nut. Then you should have a washer, and then you should have a bearing race, you screw off with your hands...that should expose the bearing, and release the fork...dont drop it.

SOmeone correct me if im not clear.

Thank you Dingo :D I will do this tommorrow

hammer, chisel, vice grips, weld a piece of bar to the top nut for leverage (dont laugh i did that once and it worked), put the fork in a vice up to the top of the crown have a buddy stabilize the frame and get a big bad a&& monkey wrench on it (careful with this though i actually twisted a steer tube doing this oops)
