It's the first time, I see a Kik Shift.

Does someone know how it works?

Have you ever seen that on a bicycle?

WOW !! How much does that weigh !!! never seen that before but the bendix kickback 2 speed hubs you just give it a short backpedal and it switched the gearing. i have seen crank mounted 2 speeds before but they used a shifter lever.

the only thing i can find on a "kik-shift" is that worksman had a 3-speed cableless "Kik-shift" in the 80's, thats all i can make out, the pdf link thru google wont open

here is the info from the PDF
