Longest ride to date was a 308k randonneuring ride. That was 192 miles in 15 hours. That was on my Raleigh Sojourn, not a rat rod bike.

Second longest ride was the Texas Time Trials this fall. I did 159 miles in 12 hours there.

I just recently finished my R12 award, which means riding a 200k ride in each of 12 consecutive months. In addition to those 12 rides, I've done 3 or 4 other 200k's in the last year. Also the Hotter-n-h*** 100 this summer. I log my miles over at bikejournal.com, and have almost 7,000 miles for the year now.

I've done several centuries and one 211k ride on my Worksman cruiser, but it is now relegated to grocery-getter and won't be going on any more long distance rides.

Oh, and I just turned 50.

That's impressive! I'm 25 and not in that good of shape!

70 miles crosscountry on a hardtail Kona MTB a couple of years ago.. Its a big annual race called "Finnmarksturen".. The course uses old loggingroads but a lot is just singletrack trought the woods..I think it took something like eight or nine hours and afterwars i was pretty beat..

Hardcore is going to the 5 day FBI custom bike party in Amsterdam :D What a trip that would be

the longest I rode was about 25 miles around were I used to live on my old Electra 3 speed. Now that I have moved to Philly I plan on riding my Wild Card bike I am build everywhere.

I'm not the slightest bit hardcore, that's why I ride cruisers.
10 miles is probably the furthest I have ridden in one day as an adult.

Wow you guys are really hard core. I do 9-11 miles four days a week. I'm going to try to keep it up until the weather gets too bad. I'm only getting into riding shape in the last year or so. I've dropped 20 lbs so far.
This spring I'm planning a 25 mile blast out on Long Island. I'll see how far I can take it from there.

check out the shop!
it's 15 miles away in long beach

Yesterday I rode 8 miles by moonlight on secondary roads and the rail trail. It was cold, 35F or so. I would say I'm pretty hardcore. If I feel like riding, nothing is going to stop me.

recently ('cause who knows how far i rode as kid)? somewhere in the 30-ish ml range.

we have this mayors hometown bike ride twice a year (memorial day and labor day) that i always miss. this year i kinda meant to do the labor day ride since i have a truck now to get my bike downtown. i missed it anyway but being off that day with nothing else to do, i decided to take a good long ride on my 'hood cruiser to see how it would do for maybe next year.

so i rode from home to downtown (if you're local that's newburg to broadway going up bardstown rd.) down the main street (broadway) going through downtown to the park at the end (shawnee, stopped for a burger on broadway too), got on the riverwalk trail at the park and rode back downtown along the river, came out at the skatepark and watched for a bit then rode back home.

i need to fix a couple of stiff links in my chain but it rode good the whole trip. i sometimes take it downtown and do the riverwalk ride on weekends now. next year i'll be ready.

well, that was a shake down sorta for me. don't know when i'd do that distnce again. my bike got it's name 'cause usually about the most i'll do is a couple miles around the neighborhood.

We ride the Long Beach Marathon Bike Tour which is the full marathon distance plus riding to the start and back+appx 30 mile rides...plus we ride every weekend 10-30 miles on pre war and early post war balloners...and I am closing in on 50 as are some of the others...
