i bought the sidehack last week, and put some new tires on my daily. thats about it all this year. but im in the plans for a hand built bike, and am going to start rebuilding KRUSH soon, hopefully have it powder-coated.

I live in a "young" area" most of the housing has been built up in the last 10 years, and is very high end.

I mostly find "new" bikes (say: walmart junk bikes), but I've found that a little clean/adjust makes them look pretty good, and I can sell the heck out of them on CL at 1/2 retail.

Looking forward to the high dollar housing HOA mass garage sales this spring.

those folks will dump almost anything for cheap if they think it is "in the way".

Nothing I'd want to post a picture of in fresh finds, but it does generate some cash for parts for my old bike projects.

at least I have my oversize solar powered shop to work in agsin. 8)
where I have built one reasonably cool bike so far
but I still miss living in Wilmington.

now if I can just make it to all the shows that I want to attend...

nothing of real note. haven't taken pics of any of them since no build is starting for them and there's not much to them otherwise. i've picked up 5-6 bikes since the first of the year. i did pick up a new style manta ray at the end of last year.

put a kickstand on my favorite cruiser. it's needed one and i just this week figured out how to do it. should have fenders in a week or so also (mismatched. chrome front, black rear i think it'll work).

made some small, but i think real progress on several projects. i'm always fooling with ideas, but i think i've worked out a few stumbling block details on about 3 bikes. there's only a couple more ideas in my head for new projects (for now), so i hope to focus more on compleating old ones.

My plan this winter was to have 50 bikes rebuilt so I could flip them. No nothing old, I just can't find any old bikes. So the first of Feb I had 49 rebuilt, then the calls came in. Sold 16 in Feb, Sold 10 so far this month, Sold 4 today. The phone rang all day. Fixed up everything from kids 20 inch 5 & 6 speeds to Vintage Road Bikes. Seems like no one likes Mountain Bikes anymore. I have Sold more Old Road Bikes than anything and now I'm out of restored units.
This was the Road Bike Factory, now I have 6 left.

Me neither, at least not for a decent price. Everyone I have seen for sale around my area, people are asking about $500. When I offer $100, they tend to get irritated.

Yeah if I told you what I paid for mine it'd just be twisting the knife. I got the "Good friend price".

Those tires on that devil woman bike--are those Bontrager Hank tires? How do you like them?

The rear one is, the front is a 27" I am actually impressed with the Hank tire, it is very lightweight and only a few dollars more than the old style heavy cruiser tires.

Maybe that's a decent price for the condition, but even at $200, I rather buy a lesser-condition real one.

If shipping wasn't so outrageous and possibly having something worked out on it I'd sell you mine. I'll let you know if it falls through.

I had a bunch of bmx stuff, then I had one old murry and high dollar recumbent. got ride of the BMX
and started looking for bikes I fit on. But I started with a murry and a huffy. then found this site
and since feb 19th when I joined I have 23 bikes in the garage and 2 in the house. I did give
one to my kid.. :lol: but only to shut her up about all the bikes..
