how to build a sidecar...

last summer on a bike trip there was a bunch of bikes for sale in a yard up north, one old Schwinn had a homemade sidehack on it, had a busted pedal, was 100 bucks.

Somebody gave this to the Bike Project. Pic kinda sucks but the sidecar will clamp onto most ladies bikes. It has a generator for front and rear lights too.

here is progress on todays build. Boys wanted a sidehack so we did what we could until the heat of the day sent us inside.

3 sets of handlebars and some old pipe laying in the ditch :mrgreen:
