Hi! I looked in the "How To Manual" and didn't see what I was looking for - I have a pair of what I believe are aluminum alloy rims with some discoloration. The finish on the rims is kind of shiney - not dull & not Silverking Frame Chrome looking. I've never cleaned AL before and I noticed on the chrome cleaner cans they say do not use on aluminum. So before I try anything I wanted to get some feedback from people that are already familiar with this situation. I appreciate any help I can get. Thanks alot. Robert

Maguires Compound in the black bottle and a regular plastic tooth brush worked very well this week-end.

The green scotch bright pad cleaned the brake scuffed sides of the rims. Still scuffed, but much cleaner.

Once you get the mirror finish that you want...

WAX it or Clear Coat it.

It will turn dull again if you dont protect it.
