A recent dumpster dive yielded a nice pair of 26x2.0 Duro Gumwalls with samll diamond tread. Problem is that in certain parts of the gumwall on both tires there is a brown discoloration that almost looks like age spots / oil stains.
I'm sure most of you have seen these kind of spots / stains on old gumwall tires. Does anyone know of a way to clean these? I've heard that oven cleaner may work.
If I can't get the stains out, I may paint the gumwall and would appreciate any recommendations on that. Paint would be a tan/gold to simulate the gumwall.
Thanks everyone!
