Hi guys, go a little trike build on the go. It has some chrome bars and mudguards I'm looking to make look a lot more corroded or at least lose the shine from it. The rear mudguards are already rusted up a little but wouldn't mind knowing how to hurry it along a little. The bars aren't too bad but would prefer them to look more flat/dull in appearance.

how do i do the above?

Did this a few days ago, I used 180 grit, best to get the sand paper that is on pads, easier to sand with. If you use a grit that is too rough it will scratch it and make it look like crap. Or scotchbrite, but I could not find single pads.

I used gray scotch brite pads with pb blaster to dull all the chrome on my 40' build.

Did my bars, fenders, stem and chain ring.

Here's a close up of the fender.
