How to repair/fix an old bicycle Horn?

Hi all I have an old Roadmaster with a 2 D Cell batteries push button horn that does not work. Is there any tips to repairing these? What goes wrong ? Thanks !!

Got a volt meter or a test light?

Get new batteries,clean the connections.Check the wire to the switch.Check the wire to the horn.

Bad Switch
Bad Horn
Bad Ground
or D. All the above.

Its really easy .Any Q's lemme know

this is for a schwinn horn but im guessing theyre a pretty generic set up(scroll down about 3/4's).......
