How to search threads again with new and improved softaware, (or something)

Where did the " Search " button go; do I need a special application, or re-training, to see it again.
Is it one of those "white" on white background things; there but not seen, for some cool-factor reason; (wouldn't that be cool)?

Okay, that's cool, the big “Q” for “query” - but where is it.
Maybe its an internet explorer thing; (see words no icons).

Versus Edge, compare? (see some words, and icons with or without words).

Same disappearing act, logged in or out.
I guess that I can still hover my cursor over the invisible icons, just like on eBay, (did I give that last seller a 4 or 5 feedback; how would I know).

It is a magnifying glass. Lot of applications use similar icon to indicate searching for somethimg..

Is this on phone or computer? I normally use chrome on work computer, but just tried it on IE as well, and it looks the same on both for me.
