How to Tell a Reproduction Bike???

Its a repop but I must admit, it's very nice looking. It's not a Walmart schwinn is it? I've noticed bike store repop schwinns tend to look much nicer than the ones you find in a Walmart or target.

I don't know. It was on Craig's List advertised as a "50's or early 60's bicycle"for $1000 :roll:

You can usually just look at the quality of the welds on those models that are welded . The welds on the china bikes are just way more sloppy looking

Brazing, if visible, looks like melted solder. Welding looks liked stacked coins, or if crappy, like popcorn. :|
