How Wide Can You Go ?

Hi Guys
I'm well in to my Dyno Coaster build now but have come up against a wall. The info in the UK is pretty scarce so i need to know what is the widest rim and tire combo i can get on the original frame with no mods. It's a 1996 Coaster and it's have a 26" bent springer front end. I wanted 80mm wheels and a 3" tire but I've read the widest i can go is 65mm with a 3" tire. Does anyone know for sure ????

A 24" x 3" on a standard 24" rim is a tight fit, but it works on my Dyno Roadster Stretch and I've used the same combo on a stock cruiser frame with a little "massaging"...
