The starting point, a Huffy Good Vibrations

Gonna pull the forks & stem from a donor Schwinn.

Black CB wheels from The Bicycle Wheel Warehouse.

Stem from donor Schwinn.

Origin8 Classic Lite Seat, Oury grips & KMC chain.

Maxy Cross cranks pulled from a old school GT bmx.

DB platform pedals

All parts instaled for "mock-up":

It rides great & handles great. I will be having it sandblasted & powder coated black next weekend.

No sand blast or paint yet. Been busy riding it! lol

But a couple of updates.

I sold the blue Schwinn forks & am going to install forks that I bought from RRB member Tailwinds.

And I am going to slap on a set of Kend K-Rad tires!

The BB & cranks came off of a mid 80's Schwinn Predator. So it was an easy swap.

Sweet! Hooray for the Good Vibrations! I'm using one now for a build. I'm also building a BMX inspired cruiser. Well, not yet but I will be when I get everything else done!!! :lol: :lol: What are you going to do for paint? Love those K-rads! I'm thinking about using the green knock-offs.

As for paint, I want to have the F/F & bars sand blasted, then have em powder coated black.
