I’m not sure about the sissy bar yet. I didn’t notice that was what it was when I ordered it. I’m going to leave it on and see if it grows on me.

Great thread. Trying to make a bigger, more rideable bike look as cool as a 20" krate/stingray is a big challenge.

Love the way this turned out. Sometimes, scaling a banana seat bike up to 26" looks odd to me, but this one is just right. Stance and scale are perfect.

Thanks! I’m very happy that it turned out so well. This bike is surprisingly light (I guess because it’s a Chinese built Huffy) but it is a very easy riding bike.

I got this Saturday - now if I could just manage to match the color this would look awesome on it!

For now I decided to stick with factory guard and go with the original Huffy Dragster decal. I’m still planning on revisiting the finned guard though.

I also went with the lower seat mount. The high sissy bar made it tough to get on and off of!

I’m working on some white stripes for the fenders, and I’m calling this one done.

Where did you get those redline rear tires?

I’m planning my next muscle bike build with a CWC frame, and I’d love to have those!

I made them by painting on the red lines. The rear tire is a Jerald Slick, which is a smooth square tread. The front is a special 22” tire I had to find.

I have Ted Williams ‘76 Bicentennial (Sears Spyder) that my sons is planning on building and a 20” Murray “Apple Cart” that my daughter has claimed. I have a banana seat on the way for it right now.

I’m not sure of the length, but I’ll check it. So far though, it’s very comfortable (for me and him) and seems to be pretty well made.
This seat came with tall sissy bar pictured above, but I swapped it with the shorter one.

I finally remembered to check and it is the 22” XL seat. It looks like I’m going to be ordering another one myself, because I found my next muscle bike build today!

I decided to put the taller sissy bar back on it and stripe the fenders. I’m liking the look of it!

Its too bad that fender is dimpled for frame clearance. If you could rotate it forward a bit till the struts are vertical (***edit** thus being left with a more bobbed fender) it will have more of the muscle bike appearance. Please don't judge, my old Photoshop does not work with Win10. I'm using a cheezy free program now.
