huffy silver jet ?

ok got this baby off craigslist - says huffy silver jet - looking for info on this model- year? adds, dealer info, whats missing , ect.....any help greatly appreciated

started the cleanup today - 6 cold hours of scrubbing and cleaning ......pics worth a thousand words right ?

serial number - can anyone help with a date ? 26x1.75 tires

-up on the rack - not really designed for this style bike - fought me all day

lookin a little better -on the seat post tube , looks like the remnants of a decal - anyone have any idea what it originally said or looked like ? this one is long gone ...also the headtube decal is missing , any hints there ??

post clean-up - this was a rough clean - still gonna doisassemble and do a deeper clean , was just trying to get that crust off her

- comments ? questions ? advice? any helpful info on a date ? ect????

are these tires the original ones ? they are in rough shape , any sense keeping them ?

I can't offer any info help but I wanted to say it sure cleaned up nice. To bad the rear lens is broken but from what I've read here that was a common problem with all plastic items on the older Huffy bikes.

That's most probably 1966, and it looks all original and hardly ridden. That's common with girl's bikes.

Is there any replacement lenses available ? Anyone remade them ? Also am I missing a tank As well ? Any help finding my missing parts would be appreciated
