Humpday Craigslist find!

I have been searching for a good price double top tube frame for about 6 months now, checking CL here and there and let me tell you, California is not the place to find good deals! But, behold today I grabbed this orange crusher for under a hun-die - and i'm pretty happy.

Have not had time to figure out exactly what it is yet, since it is soooooo covered with paint, but here are some quick snaps.

Now comes the fun part - searching for missing parts!

Huffman frame and chainring. Cool find. Try some oven cleaner to see if the original paint is under the orange spray bomb.

Yup its a Huffman frame, badge shape looks Western Flyer. Nice find

Yep that's it. I had the exact frame and dated it to '51 I think.

Now the big question: Is the original paint under 7 layers of re-paint and what condition is it in. Many times the paint protects what is underneath.
