Anyone know how to set up a de-railier mechanics so as to use amn old Husrt Shifter handle to select the gears ?

It's a stem shifter with a piece of chrome tube bolted to it. Just get a bolt that threads into shift handle and cut the head off, and weld it (or drill and tap little bolts into the side of it) inside the tube.
