Well the sun was out, still cold, but I decided to try and rearrange the shed. Springs coming and I will for some reason be looking for more bikes, WHY? So, I took out all of the bikes, took pics, and put them back in, might have gained room for one more bike. Anyway heres the RATs that are in the shed (there are more in the garage, beside the garage and in a trailer) .
My muscle bike
The his and hers skiptooth Western Flyers,
the blue WF was my first bike as an adult, $10 garage sale bike I rode around the hood and to the pub for 5 years or so. I was fine having just one bike, then I met these people who were building cool custom and rat bikes, pub cruising on there cool bikes every Thursday night. SO, I joined them, the Coasters BC, had too much fun, and BA (bicycle addiction) set in. That was 5 years ago.
And its not just me, BA has my women too. The Green WF, I bought last fall to cleanup and flip, but when she seen it, she told me "You're NOT selling that bike, THAT'S MINE!" and so it goes.
the rat tandem, estate auction buy, home built over 50 years ago, ratted last year
a 1940s Schwinn Continental with a non-original red band 2 speed kickback, Purchased by the women referenced above and given to me just like pictured.
a 1969 Robinhood
a Schwinn Speedster pub ride loaner bike
an Autobike, auto shifting by way of centrifugal force from weights on the spokes
Huffy Good Vibrations, our pub ride loaner bike for novice women drink and riders its been crashed 2 or 3 times
a couple of Hawthorne girls skip tooth bikes, projects
Schwinn Breeze bought for the 2 speed kickback and parts
a Schwinn Jaguar, rough but cheap, Im looking for a green tank for it
a Phat Cycles Chopper, a police auction buy
and one of my favorites, the "Beer Bike"
RATS, RATS, RATS, What am I supposed to DO?
I know, I need to build another shed!
