So, I just recently bought a frame to repaint and build up... even though I already have a project bike... and do you think I could just leave it at that, and be content with the number of bikes I have?

Noooo... why would I possibly do a sane thing like that?

So, I am now the proud owner of a seafoam green and white ladies Hawthorne that I just couldn't pass up, and I'm seriously wondering where the heck I'm going to put this thing as we're up to our eyebrows in bikes now. Why oh why must I be so insatiable for bikes?

Do they offer any kind of counselling for this illness? :D

Oh... and I'll post pics as soon as I get around to hefting the lens in her direction. ;)

I know what you mean... I am actually new to the bike collecting action, I only have a few right now. But I keep picking up bikes thinking I will sell them or part them out, but then I get too attached! I actuallly wanted to part out my RRBBO bike, but that soon changed.

Its fun though, definitley the coolest form of junking that I've known.

Did you look at The 24 inch Evans she has...
I am about to buy it sight unseen..
If you saw it, is it decent???

It was gorgeous... I didn't get too up close and personal with it, but if I had had the money I would fully have nabbed it. The red accents on the black and white frame a beautiful. A worthy buy for sure... actually, when I saw it I thought of you and was going to direct you to it. ;)

If I'd known you were interested I would have taken her for a spin!

BWAH HAHAHAHAHAAAA!!!

You should see the purple fairlady stingray she has! I nearly died!! Oh, and there's a gold lowrider she has there that makes me think of your little gold beastie... she's thinking of selling it eventually...

My girlfriend and I are co-dependent. We talked ourselves into buying a Flying Pigeon this week.

I feel yer pain !
I am like the Pied Piper of yard sale junkers...
They follow me home.
I do have some completes but enuff parts to build at
least three more bikes. There are so many apart that I really
dont know what parts came from what anymore.
This is compounded by some of the parts being from 2 Peugeots
I start project with good intentions but never follow through.
Here in VT the winter has kept adding to the landfill minimal, but
the weather s getting warm and I fear I will succumb to the
addiction again
I am going to go door-to-door and implore my neighbors not to have
any more spring yard sales or flea markets, maybe you might
try that, too
