I made a Rat Rod Bike paint stand .

I just put this together to see how it worked out , it seems like its going to work out just fine . I can rotate the frame 360 * and spray under neath it . I did a test frame today not the one it the photo it came out pretty nice .

Thanks I'm going use your idea. I use the seat post. It's
harder to flip over and paint.

Yes!
I use something similar... Except mine is clamped onto a cinder block...

Another tip:
Use an old quill stem in the seat tube as a handle... It gives you a good way to flip the frame, move it around, etc...

Pretty darn neat do you use it just to paint or is there a way to use it to work on the bike maybe for everything from the front tube to the back,hmmmmm.

No i have a bike stand for that .. they work the best and worth the investment .

This reminded me of the family farm. My grandparents used to fill old tires with cement and stick heavy metal poles in the center to use as fence posts in the barnyard. Problem was that even with an old porcelain insulator on one they still could give you quite a shock if you touched one when it was damp out. Electric cow fenders hurt... a lot. (I may have been sorta knocked out once by one on accident...)

Anyway, very cool idea!
