How I get my wife to watch the grind hard plumbing company:
Hey baby these guys built a Barbie boat! look!

On Any Sunday is one of my faves, time to watch it again!
Inline 6?
Real men. Going on a beer run.
Great choice. I really want to try one outNot sure if this really fits the thread but whatevs... it's not so much a "just became" as a "regaining enthusiasm" sort of thing.
As my username might suggest I'm into a certain brand of motorcycle, and have bought/ridden them almost exclusively since about 1995. Over those years I became pretty jaded and not really impressed/enthused by much for a while now.
I swore off sport bikes (aside from classic stuff) around 2015. Most of my recent purchases have put out around 150hp or so. Fancy brakes and suspensions. Basically WAY over what I could ever "use" but they were the norm.
Well, that all changed in November. I stepped outside of my norm and instead of buying my typical big displacement V-twin with teh fancy this and that...I bought a bike that was literally designed to be a beginner's bike. 150hp? Nope, 47hp. V-twin? Nope, parallel twin (but with a 270 degree crank). High end adjustable suspension? Nope. Preload adjustments only.
And it's a freaking sport bike.
What was I smoking? I dunno... but out the door it literally cost less than an exhaust system for those fancy sportbikes I used to buy. And it's shaken things up so I'm having at least as much fun with it as I did with my last not quite so affordable bike.
Although... sharp eyed readers may have noticed I live in Michigan, and bought the bike in November... As in, I've never even ridden it yet! There was snow on the ground when I picked it up! In fact I haven't even started it yet.
But that's no reason not to have fun. With the odometer still reading 0 I've already made a bunch of changes. I had a quickshifter installed before I even picked it up. Replaced the brake pads, bought a new radial master cylinder (the reservior is backordered so it's not installed), reflashed the ECU, added a USB port, solo tail cowl, spools on the swingarm, tail tidy, 3D printed gizmos to mount cameras and stuff, and a couple other little things I've forgotten about already.
Behold the Aprilia RS457. Out of three colors it was my least favorite, I tend to prefer more subtle graphics, but it was all they had and to be honest it's grown on me. It's a small bike, it SHOULD look obnoxious. The smaller the dog, the more yippy it is, right? The big bikes can be solid colors and minimal graphics, this one will stay "busy" looking. I'm even considering putting Mighty Mouse sticker behind the screen. Or maybe that's just a case of too much time on my hands... we'll see.
Great looking bike. The graphics make me think of those that were used on this historic Porsche GTP racer. Not sure if this really fits the thread but whatevs... it's not so much a "just became" as a "regaining enthusiasm" sort of thing.
