26" JC Higgins... I think I'm just going to clean it up, polish it up, wax it up, repack with fresh grease, recover the seat, maybe paint the rims, put on new colorful tires and enjoy "Big Red" for what it is. Amazing functional industrial art from a time when things were built to be used to enhance our lives for as long as they could and not thrown away as fast as we could as part of some global economic system that only values consumption.

Ok... thanks to this site... I'm probably going to have to hang a red fox or racoon tail from under the seat!
