Ideas on how to semi permenantly mount a filler tank

Huh. What part of the frame are you talking about? I've got a dyno... Just curious...

well the back bone of my frame is about 1.5" in diameter...and the side bars are about 1" diameter. my friend had a dyno and everything on his frame was much narrower than mine. you should check these frames out when you can. they seem so much more durable.

I traced a piece of cardboard and cut it out and had a fabricator buddie build one out of 18 ga. metal. I welded a 1 inch piece of tubing cut in half to form a u on the front and used a small strap to go around the seatpost in the back. worked out really well.
