Ive done a little bit more work on the bike. I haven't been doing much to it lately because ive been doing my GCSEs but now thats all over, ive got 3 months of doing nothing so i can get back to working on the bike.

So ive not updated in a while but ive done some more work over the past couple of weeks.

i made a fuel tank from a fire extinguisher with will fit inside the fake tank so i don't have to fill it with as much fuel.

I cut the frame so the drive wheel can fit

I think it turned out wuite well. the next big task is going to be working out the belt tension arm. but for now im going to start welding up the frame.

I made some new handelbars and lowered the seat on the Indian. I think its changed the look of the bike completely. before the seat was too high and it didn't flow. The board track racer bvars make the bike.

Ive been doing some more work over the last week. Ive completed the tank mostly all it needs now is some body filler to make i nice and smooth

the inside of the tank is a smaller tank so it dosent hold a large amount of fuel

all the welds smoothed out

And the tank sitting in the bike

ive also been working on a stand so i dont have to keep leaning it up against a wall

I put a support on one side od the stand but i think im going to put ofn the other side as well.

i also added a catch to the saddle so the stand can lock into place

and a front view of the bike

I put the engine in the bike so i could work on the belt tension arm and also so i cold get a feel of what the bike will look like when its finished

Ive not been doing much to the bike lately because ive been on holiday but ive made a fake tension arm just to give the bike the correct look and ive also been getting some of the bearings and pullys sorted out to connect the engine to the back wheel

Ok so i ahvent updated this project in a while but in the last few days ive done a lot .these pictures were from a few weeks ago

heres what ive done over the past few days.i finished up welding the frame for the indian getting it ready to paint. I painted the tank and i like the colour its not too bright not too dark .but i ran out of paint so i cant paint the frame yet

I managed to paint the Indian frame in primer and put the wheels and bars back on. I also painted the bars and i think they came out quite good . Im getting ready now to do the decal on the tank in gold leaf. I've never used it before but hopefully all goes well......

First time using gold leaf and i think it came out quite well. Im going to clear coat it and go round the edges with black. Now ive got to do it all again on the other side

Im trying to finish up the bike to make it presentable to take to a show on the weekend
