Interesting. That is Easton Ultralite aluminum, Taperwall Technology, which I assume is a fancy way to say butted. It's old enough to be made when Paul was still in charge, but I don't know if he welded the aluminum ones. Found an old pinkbike ad for some comparison, it's a frame up buildIt's aluminum maybe winter don't get much harder
