So... in relacing the Schwinn S5 rims I noticed the front wheel has inside spokes to the inside and outside spokes to the outside. Determined by the Head In or Head Out. The rear wheel is just the opposite and the crossing of inside spokes over the top of outside spokes shortens the spoke a wee bit and adds some tension to them. Looking at the collection of rims, they seem to be all differant any links or words of advice helpful. The front rim was completed with inside spokes to the inside, the rear wheel spokes cross over. Right, wrong, indifferent?
