It's not really a fair fight.

I'm representing a community so I essentially have an never ending supply of content.

The fact that you've gained over 6000 followers by posting all personal content is pretty impressive.

Now you just need to figure out how to really monetize it.

That's the beauty of this country, each person can do whatever they chose and make money (legally) in a way that suits them best. For some it brings enjoyment and to others pain. I guess it's all just a matter of perspective. Sounds like you've figured out what's best for you.

That happened to me with homebrewing. I tend to say I ruined a perfectly good hobby by going pro. Not that I don't enjoy my job, but at the end of the day, I don't want to take my work home with me.
Ironically enough, after almost 20 years in the biz, I'm actually starting to slowly start making test batches at home again and building up the equipment to do so.

Ultimately though, it's actually a wonderful thing to be able to take something you love doing and make a life and a living from it.

As the old saying goes.. "find something you love to do, and you'll never work a day in your life"

However, as soon as it stops being fun... run away!
