I think I am going to get one of these to slim down my Fat Fink II Mongoose Beast.

That's like spittin' on a fish, or putting lipstick on a pig, or some sort of other analogy about it being pointless. But you'll be the first kid on your block with a Flip-crowned Beast. Totally worth the bragging rights...

It is a very practical item as are the flip pedals. As the video shows if you live in a place where the only place to store your bike is a narrow hall or to hang it on the wall. I DO like the aspect of the ability to quickly and easily flip for transport on a rear mounted car rack.

Oh, absolutely.... i just think it would have limited practical use for Kingfish and his fatbike..... But, for folks with tight storage and more typical bikes, it makes a lot of sense.

Tell you what. I'll GIVE that million dollar idea to you for free!
Take a box end wrench(or allen key if you have a newer wedge bolt) and weld it to the wedge bolt. Then you don't even have to worry about ever loosing or misplacing the wrench!
Just say thanks when you make your millions please.

Wait.
I forgot about you guys that don't weld. Just take the aforementioned wrench and stick it in your pocket.
No pockets you say? Tie a string to it and hang it from your bars, or seat, or wrist!

Did y'all hecklers watch the video?

The idea behind this isn't so much about strapping a hex wrench to your bars; it's more about the weird top nut that lets you toggle between positions so you can effortlessly and quickly put the stem back perfectly straight. Yeah, it doesn't take long to center a stem, but every second counts when you're in an hurry to grab your bike and ride to work.

This isn't a product for everyone, and i don't need one, but I can see how it could be useful for some ppl.

It showed the stem bolt being tightened when using the invention. When you need to loosen it again, you may need to tap it with a hammer to free the wedge.

Yeah I watched it.
Okay, to quickly line up the stem to crown nut, use a sharpie to make an alignment mark.
Yet another million dollar idea!
Your welcome.

I get it; y'all are some hecklers, so i guess that is what it is. To be fair to the flip-crown guys, it's a $30 idea, not a million dollar idea.... and have you had much luck with sharpie-on-chrome?

Yeah, this product isn't for everyone, but it seems creative to me--even if i don't personally have a use for it. With as many ppl on here who come up with interesting ideas of their own, i figured maybe it might inspire ppl to try to market their products.

Probably the majority of RRB ppl do, too.... but we're probably in the minority, compared to the general population. :rockout::crazy::rockout:

(And you know i could wipe that sharpie off that sissy bar with my thumb, right?)
