Is there any way to add speeds to a skiptooth bike?

I wonder if you could change the sprocket on a Sturmey Archer hub to a skip tooth :?: ? hhhmmmmmmmm..... :?:
 
Thanks Socal, for drawing my attention to this one! I would love to try that on a Nexus, If I can locate one. i have a parts bike with a Sturmey Archer 3 speed I might use, but I heard they have some problems. Guess I will try this with the Sturmey if I can't find a Nexus for a good price.

The AW was first made in 1936, it should have some problems. :D
