Is this a Firestone?

I picked this up from a friend today. I think it's a Firestone.

The frame and chain guard are almost identical to the Firestone I redid last month, although my other one has a straight down tube, but the one in the second picture has the curved down tube. The rear dropouts are the same.

Hmm...well its very possible they were made by the same company and rebadged, I don't know enough about them to be sure.

Well it does look like it's AMF afterall. I haven't been able to find much info on them though.

I had a couple of girl's firestones made by huffy... I dunno. It's a cool lookin' bike though!

The "V" on the headtube makes me think it's an AMF badged bike. I've seen similar decals, though they had AMF on there as well. The "other red Firestone" appears to have a Huffy chainguard and sprocket that may have been swapped on. After around '65, most of those middleweights kinda all shmear together in appearance... ~Adam
