Bro-in-law is a Phoenix PD, they all fear the .25, it's high enough speed, but small enough caliber...... Kevlar doesn't stop'em.

Hmmm, cool. But on the other hand a 7.62mm Russian mouser can do the same but from 100+ yards away and the 12 gauge the vest might stop but it'll probably break a few ribs before it stops. For me I figure most criminals don't wear Kevlar so I want something that I don't need a second shot. I find someone in my house at 4 am that's not supposed to be there I want to paint the walls and the 12 gauge will do it. No second shot needed. You don't really even have to aim just point in that general vicinity and bang.
