Is this freewheel toast?

I JUST bought this. Yesterday

this isnt right, could i fix it?

but could i fix it before spending the $9 in gas to go get it replaced?

theres usually only 2 things that could go wrong besides normal wear

1> either its gummed up (flush it or soak it with penetrating oil)

2> or the pins or body that make it work are damaged (replace)

if you can get it apart without losing all the balls.. and get it back together , its probably just assembled wrong.

seeing that its new I doubt its broken... :roll:

I have the perfect idea. Get a necklace chain and loop it through the freewheel and wear it around the Detroit metro area. That would be EPIC.

or use a bikechain for the necklace. could be considered a weapon! if you take it apart, a magnet will be very handy. :wink:

Took it to the shop, The guy didnt ask a single question...He remembered me. Replaced it. Thanks!
