Is this speedo repairable?

The line spins fine, goes up into the mechanism in the back fine, and turns this worm gear fine.

The problem is that the horizontal worm gear shown above isn't engaging and turning the vertical worm gear on the left shown here:

and here:

The whole thing looks pressed together, with no screws to take apart. Is there anything I can do to get it to turn again? Is there a way to reset the mileage?

mabe the bracket/axel support just need to be bent back in place so the gears touch? for the numbers ..idk ..make stickers with new numbers and wrap them over ?! lolz

When I get it home to my tools I guess I'll just tinker around with it. Hopefully I can get it figured out.
