Joe, That's a nice looking bike and good price. The headlight go's for that price. If I remember right from the search I did on mine that's a black and gold 1958 the last year for the X-53. That light on the back fender is interesting don't think I've ever seen one like that one. If you decide to resale I maybe interested in the whole bike.

I used to live in Richmond (and spent a lot of time at Agee's) and frequented Ashland and Hanover. I never found anything decent anywhere. But Richmond has really embraced bicycles to a whole new level since I left. What with Slaughterama and all of the other vintage/custom bike events. It makes me want to move back.
