Here she is - the Worksman-turned-Moto-Bike Tribute
Originally I planned for a more conventional klunker, but then the triple-tree forks magically appeared and I knew it had to be a tribute to the bike I rode as a kid - a 1976 Yamaha Moto-Bike.
For a few years now I wanted to join the Build-Off. It's. been great too finally join in the fun.
One thing I'm proud of on this build is using almost no new parts. The chain, the seat (NOS from Ebay), the handlebar clamps, and the rear tube are the only new parts. Most other parts came from scrap bikes. The frame came from @ind-chuckz . The handlebar came from an old Suzuki enduro.
Only the frame and the chainring ended up on the finished bike.
For the next build-off I'd like to strip another Worksman to bare metal, clear it, and build a single-speed klunker-style mountain bike. I loved the way this frame looked before paint.
