Its been a good week

Found these 2 on C/L last night picked them up today

Huffy Camaro and a Hawthorn

both look to have original tire still The huffy has a sweet white wall tire

the paint on both is in very good condition.

Wow Wildcat thanks for the pic, i was thinking that might have been that way. And the Hawthorn has the same frame and chain ring as my Rollfast.

id say it has been a very good week for you. me too, as i got two GT mountain bikes (a 24" and a 26" outposts) for $5. cool camero, but its that hawthorne that is the real looker. mid to later 60's hp snyder built (makers of rollfast) cruiser. love the color and great job shining her up. :mrgreen:

What i found strange was that where ever the paint is chipped its a nice red paint underneath, a factory repaint?

Schwinn used to do the same thing in they're painting process.It makes the paint they're actual color.[I think].Ive sanded alot of frames and found this.Just like on cars they shoot a different color base.
