Well I am just knawing at the bit, I am waiting to go look at a couple bikes when this guy gets off work....both look to be prewar, a mans straightbar and a womens tank bike with truss bars and handlebars with the crossbar on both of them, I told them I want them and he is local....just waiting for the day to pass and he's gonna call when he gets off work......to be continued in fresh finds (hopefully)

4:45 over here on the Right coast!
I haven't found anything in a while, the local transfer station has not been providing at all. Nothign at yard sales either. Last weekend i drove 20 miles to a guy who just sold over 300 antique bikes to a guy in Iowa or something, he's collecting again, but he didn't have anything but rusted sears ladies frames, junk kids bikes and a Columbia tandem (he wants a bennie, i offered half....its still at his place...). Waiting for a friend to collect some kind of 24" baloon tire bike with huge bars from a barn, chomping at the bit for that one... Just dont seem to have much quantity around here....Craigslist is bleak or the prices are rediculous...Oh well, I'll just think posative bike finding thoughts and see what happens.

Did a bat turn on a side street for a Fuji Supreme frame with a Shimano Biopace crank and Raleigh pedals on it. Girl friend though I was crazy again.

Oh man !!! Waiting for a call back on a 66 Schwinn 5 speed stingray I dont know if my heart can take it , hes looking for a roadbike trade :shock:

Well the roadbike he was looking for was a ....motorcycle so I didn't have one so I asked what would you take cash wise...he said $250 I said what was that, He's all ok I would take $200 cash in my face, so of course I just spent money on the old pair in the fresh find section so next best thing is I have a buddy actually the owner of my LBS and turn him on to the deal, so tommorow I am supposed to meet the guy in Santa Rosa for my buddy for a 66 Stingray 5 speed, red original paint ,slik,pearl white banana seat,and if I sell something quick I will pick up his Hawthorne Mark IV 5 speed muscle bike off him 8) oh yeah I will get pics.
