It's hot

Went outside to do a little sanding. I was drenched within 15 minutes. Heat index is 100+. No wind. Bleh. A/C in the car is having a hard time keeping up too.

Yeah I been feeling it too. And all the rain does is make the humidity higher. Such is life in Indiana.

The only reason I was able to build up the 3 speed wheel on my latest project was because the wife was away on business and I was able to set up the truing stand in the air conditioned family room rather than the oven-like garage.

I've been out in the heat for the last two weeks w/ it over 100 each and every day working on my latest project...which turned into a two bike project. I carry a hand towel b/c a headband just won't cut it! And I go through about 1-2 gallons of water everyday... :?
The SO said I could come in but I was doing greasy work and painting and I didn't feel good about bringing it in...what was I thinking?! :roll:

That's everyday down here in South Florida...we get a couple of weeks of "winter" where it's only 85 or so, then it's back to the kitchen.
It's Hell with palm trees. :mrgreen:

The toughest part of my bike in the buildoff was working in the 100 plus heat nearly the whole time. I used to be able to work in the house, but not this year.

i´m with xddorox, stop whining.. :lol:

from oktober to april i build with gloves and skiing underwear to keep warm, so during the summer - i´ll take all the heat i can get..

Quit your belly aching. Me and the Pug called the weather channel and they sent a special truck down to my neighborhood. They use a satellite dish and lazers and LED's. Yeah LED's! We had some nice sea breezes today. Me and the Pug tipped the guy.
