I got bit by the bug once more and needed to scratch that itch, and every time I do I get a new bike out of it! hahaha! I have to apologize if I wasn't able to document the process, I was too excited to stop and take photos. But anyway, I started off with a Giant 26" cantilever beach cruiser for about $88 and the rest is history. Here are the photos :)

For the parts, they're mostly NOS and some newer ones. The raw bike still had some good parts like bars, stem and tires, so they'll be going into my parts bin and will be used in the future.

I wonder if this thing can tenderize some meat?

What a transformation! I'd ride that thing down a mountain any day! Though you might want to add a front brake if you actually do take it downhill.

That flat black is just killer. Where'd you get those handlebars?

Thank you very much sir! I haven't had much luck finding reliable caliper brakes, so I just kinda left them out. Also, I might not be going down mountains anytime soon as I need to get in shape first for that, haha! Just gonna be riding dirt roads for now. I was lucky to find those MX alloy bars, they're the last one in that small shop in the background. The old guy told me it was from his old stash, got em' for about $9.

I like the all black and silver, looks real classy

Turned out awesome! :)

You must be 4 foot tall though. :39:

Hahaha, yeah I'm not very tall being at 5'3". I am comfortable having the seat raised a few more inches but I have to have it at this height initially because the Mrs. (my boss and finance manager, she's only 5') must be able to break in each new bike I build until she tires of them and goes back to her regular ride. Gotta make the boss happy :21:

Another cool bike Joe. Love that you let the boss break 'em in for ya.

Thanks bro, and yeah I have to because it means more builds for me in the future! hahaha! As of last night, I think I'll be able to raise the seat sooner as she finds the bike too tough/masculine. I'm glad my wife is such a girly girl! :dance2:

I spotted these motocross Renthal bars for about $9 at a shop near our house (I'm really diggin' the aesthetic of the bolted on crossbars). Do you guy think it will look good on this build? I'll probably ditch the foam padding though.

If you were in the US i would ask you to pic me up a set and I would send you the money and a shipping label.

I'm currently living in the Philippines. There are two bars left, one similar to this with a different colored cross bar pad, planning to get it and another in black without the padding. I'm thinking other shops may have them as well. I'll go scout and ask around if I can get more to send you guys, I'll take photos as well.
