Paint!!! im using white primer as a base and covering that in a semi gloss flourescent yellow. im not sure its gonna work but im going to try it.

then some white primer
i used the etching primer on the guard and then put a few coats of white primer on.
then i sprayed the yellow on and after it dried i taped it off for the stripe.

now i just need to disassemble again to put some clear on it and i'm waiting on the seat!
i also need to figure out whats is on the red sticker on the original on the chainguard.

I never knew muscle bikes came with bars like that. That's cool.
most of the pics for the kustom dragger had those bars on them. i just took some mountain bike bars and cut them down.
got the gloss on the bike yesterday. decided to use black vinyl paint on the seat intil i get me replacement.
Nope. It went over $100.00 . That's all it was worth to me!
UPDATE!!! The patina-ing has begun!
you cant really see it in the pictures but this is a very bright yellow. i wet sanded it in a few spots to thin it down to the white underneath. it turned out really good. just looks like it sat in a window for years and got some nicks and dings from moving it around.
So here's the mythical decal. . . . the red round one on the front of the chainguard.
i took my owner's manual and had the logo on it copied and had the colors reversed a little
to make these. . . . its the "i" for iverson. if these weren't originally used, they are as close as i'm gonna get them!!

i put the sticker on the chainguard but i wanted to see what it would look like with the rider upright and the "s" diagonal. i don't really like it so i'm going to take it off and put another on the right way.
