Who can help me out on this one?!
Today i have been busy, cleaning up, and tune up the bb of my 50's Higgins bike.

First took apart the bb.

Cleaned up the frame.

As this where the bearings that came out, i needed to put in new ones.

I know how the bb nowadays are put together, but this bb has dustcovers on the outside of the bb.
On the right side the dustcover needs to be put between the chainring and the ring of the bearing, which is screwed on the crank.
This couldn't go wrong.

But for the left side i do have these parts.

I think this is how i should put it together.
First put on the outher ring of the bearing.
Next the dustcover.
And then the small ring.
But i have a feeling that there is missing something.
Because i don't have anything to lock up the bearing, so that it can't come loose.

This is how it is on the bike now, but the dustcover and the small ring do fall off because they aren't locked up.

I have tried it this way,but i think this is not the right way either.
The nut i used here to lock up, is from the new bb bearing set.
And it just doesn't look good to me.

Who can help me out on this one?!
