First off; Does anyone know the actual model name for the Higgins manifold decal bikes? There were a couple, all made by different companies, IIRC.

I found this on craigslist. I have always wanted one of these bikes. Along with the Jetflow, this is one of my all time favorites. Went to look at it, and passed. Just too pricey for the condition. I saw it was listed a couple weeks later, and called the guy again. Turns out he had couple bad experiences with craigslist flakes and was really ready to sell. He threw in a set of repop Carlisle Lightning Darts, a truss rod, rep grips, old bars and a couple NOS light sets to sweeten the deal. Dropping the price helped a bit also.

Not sure the fork is salvageable, but I'll give it a try. I will have to see if my Higgins beehive will fit, or maybe score a replacement?

Man do i hate those saddle bags. Worst accessory ever. Look for them in the "for sale" section soon.

I always liked those too. Monark made for sure, judging by dropouts, crank, upper rear stays...

A beauty! The paint looks good too. I always worry about a straightened fork, I look for a crack at the point where it enters the frame. If it is only bent back once, it should be ok. Otherwise though, that style fork is pretty common, so you could change it out and i would look like the original except for the stars.
