i found this cool jc higgins on ebay i liked the three tone paint scheme and the pipe decals but the draw back is it was $300.00 + shipping so i had an old higgins frame and i decided to build my own from my parts enventory i bought a firestone tank that fit great and also a chain guard i had the rest. its in the mock up stage a nice winter project with the pipe decals and a little paint i should have my own hotrod higgins....

I really like the way the old parts/frame and the painted tank and guard go together. I would not change anything!!! I know you may want to go decals and make it look like that one, but man - the way it is now looks GREAT!

For $300 that bike will hold it's value. Sounds expensive and maybe not for everyone's budget, but a solid investment at say $250. The tank alone is $100 - $125.
