I got a skip tooth 26" girls bike at a estate sale and can't figure out the year of it. I'm hoping to get some info. Here's the serial number and a pic of the bike itself...

Welcome to the forum! Your bike is stamped differently than any usual JC Higgins. It's definitely a Murray built bike from 1946-56. Sometimes the x was associated with certain retailers like Western Auto. But, there should still be an "MO-" code, with a letter after the dash, which usually tells the year. -Adam

I sanded away some more and failed to see anymore numbers or codes in that area of the bike
