i just finished it two days ago, and joined the forum today. i still have a couple loose ends to tie up but right now its ridable. I have to finish the painting on the frame panel above the battery box. And put the rear disc on, and put the leather grips on. But anyhow, behold!!!

What are you running for a battery pack? Is that the new 9 Continent motor? What controller are you using? Inquiring minds want to know...

It's a crysalyte, 72v 20ah lithium manganese battery, and a 40a controller. I've worked at a bike shop in high school and college, but as far as the electrical system goes, it was bought as a kit. I wish I had the gumption to build my own, I hope I can learn from you guys. I'm already thinking about the next one.

Well done, sir! I like how a battery box makes it easy to hide the clutter of the wiring with the battery, controller, DC/DC converter (to get 12V for lights), etc...

Have you considered a retro sign on the side? BTR Speed Shop, BTR Towing, BTR Garage, specializing in Excelsior motorcycle racing parts, etc

I have given the sign on the battery a lot of thought. There is a sign painter on the island I live on that I've been meaning to get in touch with. I'm thinking of something along the lines of Dockton Speed Shoppe. It's the small town I was born and raised in on Vashon Island.
