Ok I was at my house getting ready to go talk to a guy about some work he wanted done and about the time I needed to leave a woman contacted me on FB about some bikes I had posted for sale so after about 30 minutes and 20 questions she asked how much and when I told her. she said sorry I thought you was selling them cheap. ( only asking 120 for 2 completely rebuilt cruisers) Sometimes I think people just ask about the bikes to have someone to talk to. So may not only be out a bike sale but also had to reschedule my meeting. GRRRR

Nah It was just a mass ad letting people know I had some for sale when she first messaged me I gave her a list of what I had and what I wanted, and she asked me about every bike. then finally said she was interested in the 2 cruisers which she could have saved us both alot of time and asked about first. Finally I told her if she wanted both Id give her a better price ( thinking hey I might get a sell) Nope she said thats to much and asked if I would take less.

had that experience with CL too. So I started putting "CASH only - NO Delivery - Pick Up ONLY" on all my adds. That stopped 95% from even asking anymore. In the past I have had people call and want me to bring the bike to them!  I guess experience is the best teacher with CL.

Yeah, just to tell you the caliber of people you're dealing with on Craigslist... I once put up an add as a joke about a week before Halloween. (At the time I had a large dog and used to keep the yard clean by scooping and putting it in a sealed 5 gallon bucket to keep the smell down.) Just for a laugh I listed it on craigslist... "5 gallon bucket of doggie doo, great for pranks, add water and use it for paint, great gag gift, fetish, or whatever you can use it for."

Sure enough a bunch of college kids drove all the way from Bloomngton to Kokomo and gave me $20 for a 5 gallon bucket full of Dog poop. (We met at a public place, I don't want people like that knowing where I live)

Proving you CAN sell a turd, IF you market it correctly...

I had a guy ask me to bring the bike to him said he had no way to come and get it,so me being the nice guy I am I said sure I would help him out not to far about 20 miles.Good thing we talked price only asking $60 for it he wanted to know would I take $30 for It and bring it to him.Unbelievable
