I've been dabbling in tee shirt design - I took this from a black and white joker card:

These are print-on-demand, so they are a bit pricey, but available at:

That's rad; I'd be all over it if it weren't for the "Joker" printed on the t-shirt. Just the image would do me. I'm wondering if USPCC is going to get on your case about it? FWIW, I won't buy a deck of cards if it ain't Bicycle Brand, which are made in Erlanger, KY.

If you wonder why i'm responding to this without buying a shirt, just check out the number on the rock by the guy on your t-shirt, and then check out my handle here on RRB. When i registered here, I was playing Spades pretty much nonstop, and i was kinda obsessed with these cards.

I thought you might notice the rock.

I think the fact that the card image is B&W and the shirt image is in color is enough to get through red tape.

Thanks for the comments - these are print-on-demand, and I doubt if I'll ever sell more than a few of any one design at the prices that Cafe Press has to get for printing one at a time.

If anyone wants one without the word Joker on it, that's real easy for me to set up because of the print-on-demand system. I'm mainly creating the tee shirts on this web site so I can buy them. I'm mainly creating the tee shirts on this web site so I can buy them... not a gold mine... but I'd be happy to customize the design, taking the word Joker out of it. Personally, I prefer the word Joker. :)

I have a ton of other design ideas using old bicycle posters or parts of them.

BTW: It was so easy to add the "No Joke(r)" design, I already did it... no obligation... I thought there might be others feel the same way about he word Joker. See http://www.cafepress.com/xrayzebra/14646888

PS: Bicycle808 - I am looking for a really cool central spade from an ace. If you have any really cool ones AND a high resolution scanner, scan one for me, and I'll create a tee shirt from it. That goes for anybody - if you have a cool high res image you want on a tee, let me know.

It's also very easy to do this yourself on Cafe Press. I'll help you do your own if you like.

I noticed the 808 ages ago... that's why i called myself bike808 when i reg'd here... ;)

BITD, the Big Joker in an 808 deck was B&W. Now, it seems like some of the new decks have colorized the Big Joker, but the Little Joker aka "Guarantee" has always been black and white... Either way, I doubt if the USPCC cares about those shirts, being that xray is doing them so small scale, but a lot of these companies like Zazzle won't let you print copywritten or trademarked stuff. I wasn't sure if cafepress was as hardnosed.

Whoa.......I thought Rob's area code in Jursey was 808......

Nope-- I'm in the 856 area code. But I can see the 215 from my doorstep.... :43:
